After the deadeyes and double blocks are ready, the channel that will be used to support them outside the hull is prepared. It is drilled with two holes for the pins that will hold it to the hull. Note that the holes in the deadeyes for the lanyards have been filed in the upper part in order to facilitate the passage of the lanyards.
